  • The rainy season in Koh Phi Phi lasts from May to November, while the hottest time of year is January to April.
  • The best way to get to Koh Phi Phi is via one of the amphibious Cessnas flying from Phuket and Krabi, both about a half-hour flight away; or, you can take a boat from Phuket which takes about two hours.
  • There are no roads on Koh Phi Phi Don, so you either walk to the beach, rent a bicycle, or there are long tail boats that can take you to beaches for a small fee.
  • The bleach-white sand beaches of Koh Phi Phi Leh make a great day trip for beachcombing and sunbathing. Rental boats and guided tours are available from the main island of Koh Phi Phi Don.
