Would like to come to New Mexico for Christmas 2009. Also to let my 11 yr old boy play in the snow Tubing, beg. Skiing. Can anyone give me a GOOD PLACE to go. Affortable though. Would like this to be a speical 4 to 7 day trip. coming from Dallas Area.

Itinerary and possible cabins in Taos NM?
I will be traveling with my 3 girls age 16,11 and 8 from Colorado Springs CO into the Taos NM area. We will have about 3-4 days. I am wondering if anyone can give me a hint on things not to miss, and possibly some (hopefully not too expensive) cabins in the Red River or Taos area?
