  • Stay within designated zones spring through fall at Myrtle's main surfing beaches: North Myrtle, Myrtle, and Surfside.
  • Break from boarding to explore offshore wrecks and tropical fish. Coastal Scuba and Nu Horizons Dive and Travel offer certification, lessons, dive charters, and more.
  • Surf (legally) at 29th Avenue South (most other spots in Myrtle are restricted between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., depending on the time of year).
  • Brave Barracuda Alley, the 63-foot deep artificial reef created by a platoon of armored personnel carriers.

  • I would like a listing of the types of fish caught monthly around Myrtle Beach. We are planning a vacation and love to fish. Haven't decided what month to plan for.

  • We are trying to plan a family vacation and were looking at Myrtle Beach. I know that there is plenty to do there for any age group, but we were having trouble finding a place to stay. We would like to stay in condos/houses/villas if possible. There could be up to 50 people coming and staying in different houses, but we would like to all be close to each other. Please let me know if you there are any rental properties that would fit our needs. We were trying to stay in North Myrtle Beach, but either is fine.
