  • While snorkeling is excellent year round, the best visibility is during the drier and sunnier time of year from late November to early June.
  • Bathtub-warm waters that hover around 82 degrees ensure that you can snorkel for hours in Palau's oceans without ever getting chilly.
  • Although you can put your mask in the water anywhere in Palau and see incredible underwater flora and fauna, the uninhabited Rock Islands is where you will find the most pristine reef life, most of it easily accessible in shallow waters.
  • You can snorkel in the famous Jellyfish Lake (filled to the brim with millions of harmless creatures) with Sam's Tours.
