Hi,
I will be traveling in California this summer with family (3 Teenagers.) We will be in SF for 3 days and than traveling down the coast with an availability of 3 nights before we head to San Clemente for 7 nights (house rental). I'm having a difficult time deciding how to spend the 3 nights in central coast. My initial idea was to spend 1 night in Monterey, 1 night in Cambria (visit hearst castle) and 1 night in Santa Barbara. After reading about everything there is to see around Monterey I thought that perhaps we should stay 2 nights in Monterey and 1 night in SLO (Madonna Inn).Don't know if it is feasible to visit Hearst castle on the way to SLO or next morning? Would love to spend last afternoon in Santa Barbara before heading to San Clemente, is that feasible given distances and time? HELP!! All suggestions are welcome

Where can I take my nine year old son in CA for a 3 day trip
We live on the east coast and my son constantly ask me to take him to Ca as he thinks it would be a cool place to visit. I would take a few day trip with him but though his perception is Ca is interesting, I'm not sure I can think of three days in Ca that would meet his expectations above and beyond something I could do on the east coast. Any suggestions
