  • How do I arrange pick-up/drop-off between Yellowknife and Tuktoyaktuk? I'm planning to kayak the 1738 km from Great Slave Lake to the Atlantic. I'm thinking: 1) Drop boat and gear at starting location. 2) Drive to end location and find my way back to boat. 3) Paddle to truck and drive home. Are there any buses, flights, boats between Tuk and Yellowknife around August? If I hang around town asking long enough, would I be likely to find someone driving south to taxi me? Will a flight cost me all my vagabond savings? Is there a better way? Has anyone here done it? Thanks!
