I am driving from the Detroit suburbs to Pittsburgh. Can you give me a good scenic route once we get off the OH turnpike that we can take to Pittsburgh? I would like to take the back roads so we can drive some hills and see some small towns.

I would like to find a nice hotel/inn/cabin on a lake within 3 hours of the Philadelphia area. I have 2 teenage children and would like to find a place a lake for a nice 4 day getaway where we could rent jetskis, canoe, etc. Any idea?
