  • Navigate Mujeres on wheels. Rent a golf cart to explore the Mayan ruins and sculpture garden at the southeastern end of the island.
  • The cheapest and fastest ferries to Isla Mujeres depart from Gran Puerto, a 20-minute bus ride from Cancún. Four ferries launch from Cancún's main strip, and a car ferry sets out from Punta Sam, north of Gran Puerto.
  • Avoid the island's two hyperbaric chambers, where frequent patients are local lobster divers, not tourists.
