Osta Ferruccio runs this cozy, beachy-looking pensione in the heart of the tiny town, a long block up from the harbor. There are no views of the sea here, though those over the rooftops of the town itself are perfectly pleasant. The most sought-after room is no. 7, which comes with a small terrace. The rooms were recently renovated; the bathrooms are tight, but well-equipped. There's a lovely small garden where Ligurian dishes are served in summer. This is one of the area's few hotels that's open year-round.

Hotel eden is located in the center of Portofinonear the "Piazzetta" and the harbour. Portofino is an ancient fishing village, built around a natural port that has preserved its traditional character. It enjoys a mild climate both in summer and winter and is an ideal spot in any season for those wishing to find some peace and quiet in a very unique corner of the world. The Hotel Eden is ideally situated in the centre of the town, in a narrow side-street close to the esplanade and the famous piazetta, but well hidden from the crowds. The Hotel's small garden, shaded by old trees, provides a unique and intimate atmosphere. The service provided is discrete and unobtrusive, but staff are nevertheless able to anticipate all their guests' needs, be they foreign or Italian, with the property owners personally choosing the management.
