Originally built around 1882 The Oban Caledonian Hotel is situated in the centre of Oban- amid spectacular Scottish surroundings. This Oban hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland- with the isles and islands of West Scotland within a short ferry ride. Each of the Calidonians 59 well appointed en-suite bedrooms has a nautical theme- with most providing stunning views overlooking Oban Bay to the mountains of Mull and Ardgour. Dining is available in the Top Deck restaurant- which provides an intimate candlelit dining experience serving fantastic freshly prepared- locally sourced food. For a more relaxed setting the hotels bar serves a great selection of light snacks and meals throughout the day. The Caledonian also has excellent facilities for all your conference and wedding requirements- with function suites catering from small intimate meetings to larger banquets of up to 130 people.
