Housed in a palace that dates from 1408, this impressive hotel is not as stylish as the Maritim , but it appeals to those nostalgic for a taste of old Germany. Today it is part of the Best Western chain. Through a classical doorway, you enter a wide foyer with carved wooden doors and an old Spanish sea chest. The interior is tasteful. Guest rooms are equipped with bathrooms containing tub/shower combos. A winter garden with a fountain and chimney replaces an old courtyard.
