Eisenhut is the most celebrated inn on the Romantic Road and one of the finest small hotels in Germany. It's also rather expensive, but it's worth the money. If this hotel has a problem, it might be its popularity. The staff always appears overworked. The hotel is composed of four medieval patrician houses joined together. Rooms range from medium to spacious, and all are unique. Yours may contain hand-carved and monumental pieces, or a tufted satin headboard for a 1940s Hollywood touch. All are enhanced by bedside controls, spacious bathrooms with tub/shower combinations, and ample closet space.
