Compared to the five-star Harbour, Hilton, and Marriott properties, this four-star isn't nearly as posh, nor can it boast a central location. But it does have beautiful views all around—on one side, the Chang Jiang, on the other, mountains. To compensate for the inconvenient location, a free shuttle service runs several times a day between the hotel and the French supermarket, Carrefour. The rooms are clean but slightly run down; bathrooms are small. The hotel feels like a Western budget inn, but even with the standard 50% discount, the rates aren't much better than those of a five-star property.
