A lot can be said about the town of Needles when the best place to stay is the Motel 6. Typical summer temperatures usually top 110 degrees, and the trains roll by day and night. However, if you want to explore the surrounding Mojave Desert in the cooler months of the year, the Motel 6 Needles provides all the basic motel comforts at a bargain price—usually less than 50 bucks a night.
Like all Motel 6s, this one is pet-friendly. A Denny's restaurant is right next door.
