  • Brush up on your marine biology at Maluaka Beach. Located on the South Shore near Wailea, this remote spot hosts a variety of marine life, including eels, turtles, and octopi.
  • Check out Black Rock, a large lava formation at the end of Kaanapali Beach. Almost entirely encrusted in coral, a variety of fish and sea turtles swim at its base.

  • What is the best, easiest, CHEAPEST way to get from Hana to Kipahulu, Maui? I will be on Maui for two days in Sept. 2010, all I want to see is the Palapala Ho'omau Church, my Father's favorite place on Earth ! Are there busses up there (I doubt) or tours that include it ? PLEASE HELP !
