If you take Ga. 190 East and follow the signs, you'll be directed to Warm Springs, forever associated with the legacy of Franklin D. Roosevelt, who died here on April 12, 1945. Most visitors—some 110,000 a year—come to visit the "Little White House." Warm Springs village is also an attraction. After Roosevelt's death, it became a virtual ghost town, but today the village is alive with 65 shops selling antiques, crafts, and collectibles.
