  • Explore the beautiful main beach and the town's many small, sandy coves.
  • Attend the Pageant of the Masters—costumed performers recreate famous works of art using lights and music.
  • Enjoy more than 40 galleries featured at the monthly Art Walk. Summer's Festival of the Arts and the Sawdust Art Festival are also big attractions.
  • Book a hotel with history. Older resorts on the west side of Pacific Coast Highway offer a rarity: rooms right on the beach.
  • Take the road less traveled, preferably by foot, when summer traffic slows to a crawl.

  • Sunset Magazine listed a restaurant in the last issue - which has been taken from my office! Any one tried it?? Any restaurant recommendations (all prices)in Laguna? Thank you Jack

  • We will be in Newport Beach, CA next month. My kids want to go snorkeling (they've done it before but are not experts). Research on the internet has directed me to Crystal Cove and Shaw's Cove as two good places to go. We do not have equipment. Do you know of any place in the area where we can rent snorkeling equipment? Any other other suggestions or ideas would be wecomed. Thanks.
