Barbuda Sailing Highlights

  • Barbuda is located twenty-five miles north of Antigua.
  • Approach with care—Barbuda is so flat that it's hard to see until sailors are dangerously close to its reefs (and almost 200 shipwrecks around the island prove it!).
  • Barbuda's best anchorage is off of its west coast at Low Bay, a spectacular stretch of white sand lapped by turquoise waters.
  • With a handful of grocery and hardware stores, as well as a pharmacy and internet cafe, Codrington Village is the place to visit for essential supplies and services.
