Sydney Beach Travel Tips

An easy way to get an overview of Sydney’s beaches is with the Sydney Buses one-day Bondi Explorer pass on an air-conditioned, guided tour that takes you to Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte, and Coogee beaches.
There are four local nude beaches popular with city residents—Obelisk, Cobblers, Washaway, and Lady Bay. All are found within the Sydney National Park, northeast of central Sydney.
Although Bondi Beach gets all the attention, Tamarama, just south of Bondi, is actually more picturesque, with large sandstone boulders and cliffs lined with gorgeous oceanside homes and mansions.

Hailed as one of the best cities on earth, Sydney does a good job of living up to its sparkling reputation. The Emerald City is indeed attractive, built around a massive natural harbor, sandstone, and rolling hills. The iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House look just as good as on their postcards; and the city is full of interesting districts like the bohemian Kings Cross, the gay-popular Oxford Street, the historic district of The Rocks, and Darling Harbor, home of the impressive Sydney Aquarium.
