  • Seven miles outside of Steamboat, Strawberry Park is pretty much legendary in the world of Colorado hot springs. It's been a year-round draw here for decades, and it's one of the great family outings--during daylight hours. After dark, clothing is optional and no one under 18 is admitted.
  • The park was once just springs in the woods. Today, the pools of varying temperatures (the hottest is a constant 104 degrees) have beautifully constructed walls, there are five waterfalls, a tipi and heated cabin for changing, restrooms, a private pool available for Watsu (warm-water massage), and there are snacks for sale.
  • In winter, parking is extremely limited so take the shuttle out to the park instead. In summer there's more room, but keep in mind that the last few miles of the road are gravel.
