Visitor Information
Description:
This 397-foot German freighter--one of the largest ship wrecks in the Caribbean--was sunk by its own crew in 1940 to avoid capture during World War II. Part of the ship even sticks up above the water. Intact, teeming with sea life, and stretching from the surface to 60 feet below, it's a great site for divers and snorkelers of all levels.
